My “One Sentence Project” was about me writing music to cheer people up, and I think this is a very good sentence for me, but I will be doing something different for Genius Hour. I am passionate about writing, and ever since I started learning how to write in kindergarten, I knew that I loved it. It lets me express my feeling, and it takes to a whole nother world; a fantasy world. A few questions I want answered in life, is how hard is it to write a good book. I read all these great books, and I always wonder, could I ever write books as good as John Green (The Fault In Our Stars, Looking for Alaska, An Abundance of Katherines etc…), Gayle Forman (If I Stay collection), and Lynda Mullaly Hunt (One for the Murphys, and coming soon “A fish in a tree). One last question I had was, could I inspire people the way that these people have inspired me to start writing? I hope so. Three words that would describe me are passionate (which we should have for Genius Hour), intrinsically motivated, and emotional; which is always good when you are writing a book. If I were a car, my engine would be fantasy and imagination because when I write stories, like I said before, I love getting taken to my very own fantasy land and it is amazing when people read my stories and feel the same way I do. Imagination is key to writing, and even reading.
